Composer Pedro Salinas Robles, currently a professor at the “Óscar Esplá” Conservatory of Music in Alicante, premiered his work *Cantos de Exilio* (dedicated to Manuel de Falla) in Poland, performed by the Witold Lutosławski Chamber Orchestra of Łomża under the baton of conductor Pedro Vicente Alamá.
The premiere took place as part of a program dedicated to Spanish music, organized with the sponsorship of the Spanish Embassy in Poland. The new composition, conceived as a tribute to the great composer Manuel de Falla in the year marking the dual commemoration of his birth and death, was warmly received by the audience, who rewarded the performance with a prolonged and enthusiastic ovation.
On the occasion of this event, Pedro Salinas Robles personally attended the premiere and was received at the Spanish Embassy in Warsaw by Marta Vadillo, Cultural Attaché at the Spanish Embassy in Poland. Also participating in the meeting were conductor Pedro Vicente Alamá and oboist José Antonio Masmano, who performed as soloist in the first part of the concert.
The reception served to highlight the importance of cultural collaboration between Spain and Poland, as well as the role of music as a vehicle for artistic exchange between the two countries. The program presented by the Polish ensemble was a remarkable showcase of Spanish music on the international stage. This premiere marks a new milestone in the career of Pedro Salinas Robles, whose compositional work continues to reach beyond our borders through collaborations with renowned performers and ensembles.
