Yes. Every year, usually in May, we open the doors of the CSMA to anyone interested in studying with us. You can learn about our Centre’s educational project and meet the teachers of the different specialities and courses offered at the CSMA.

The CSMA’s International Relations Department manages national and international mobility programmes for students and teachers, thereby contributing to the internationalisation of higher music education and the exchange of experiences and knowledge between institutions in the European Education Area. No. In order to access the Degree in Higher Music Education, it is necessary to take and pass a Specific Entrance Examination in the speciality and pathway in which you wish to enrol. Here You can find information about this entrance examination.

To access the Degree in Higher Artistic Education in Music, you must hold one of the following qualifications:

      • High School Diploma
      • University entrance examination for people over 25 years of age
      • Higher Artistic Education Qualification
      • University Degree
      • Higher Technician Qualification
      • Specific test for minors between 16 and 18 years of age without academic requirements

In order to gain admission, candidates must also pass a specific entrance examination.

To access official Master’s degree programmes, applicants must hold an official higher education degree in arts, an official bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree issued by an institution within the European Higher Education Area that qualifies them for access to Master’s degree programmes in the country where the degree was issued.

Graduates from educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area may also be admitted without the need for their qualifications to be officially recognised, provided that the competent educational authority has verified that they attest to an equivalent level of training. Admission via this route shall not, under any circumstances, imply official recognition of the applicant’s previous qualification, nor shall it be recognised for any purpose other than that of pursuing Master’s-level artistic studies.

To request a transfer of records, you must have successfully completed the first full year, not have exhausted the four exam attempts in any subject at your current institution, have earned at least 12 ECTS credits at the end of each academic year, and not have exhausted the maximum length of time allowed for your studies.

The Degree in Higher Artistic Education in Music is completed with 240 credits (ECTS) and is normally taken over four academic years with 60 credits (ECTS) per year.

To register for the CSMA Entrance Exams, you must access the ARTIC platform during the registration period.

At ARTIC, you must register to create a username and password. After completing the form, carefully review all the information before finalising your registration, as no changes can be made once it has been submitted. You must also pay the corresponding fees by following the instructions on the platform.

Once you have registered, you must submit all the necessary documentation for enrolment using the form available in the Access to Degree section of our website.

The documentation you will need to register for the CSMA Entrance Examination is as follows:

      • Spanish National Identity Card. Foreign citizens must present a photocopy of their passport and NIE (Foreign Identification Number).
      • High school diploma or equivalent. If you do not have this qualification, you must submit an application for it and proof of payment of the corresponding fees. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the process.
      • Proof of payment of the entrance exam fee and a copy of document 046. This document is opened when you access the fee payment page. In order to obtain the form, you must have a National Identity Card (DNI) or Foreign Resident Identity Number (NIE).
      • If you hold a Professional Music Degree (optional), please provide a copy indicating your grade point average. If you do not hold this degree, you must instead submit an application for the degree and proof of payment of the corresponding fees. Otherwise, your application will not be considered.

All this documentation must be sent to the CSMA using the FORM available on our website.

You can request the card that identifies you as a CSMA student at the CSMA administration office in person once you have completed your enrolment.

Enrolment at the Óscar Esplá Conservatory of Music in Alicante is carried out via the ARTIC platform using the same username and password that were created during the entrance exam registration process.

ARTIC is the academic platform for managing CSMA students and prospective students. With ARTIC, you can:

      • Pre-register for the Entrance Examinations.
      • Enrol in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme.
      • Check the status of your registration at any time.
      • Check the grades for each subject you are enrolled in.

All CSMA students are provided with an email address once they have completed their enrolment. This address can be accessed via Microsoft Outlook and will be used to receive all communications from the Centre and teaching staff.

Classes taught at the CSMA will be in Spanish or Valencian interchangeably, as indicated in the Teaching Guide for each subject.

All applicants who have passed the CSMA Specific Entrance Examination but have not obtained a place will be placed on a waiting list (unless they indicate otherwise) and will be notified by email and telephone if a place becomes available due to a withdrawal.

Yes, all students officially enrolled at CSMA may borrow up to three items from the Library’s collection of books and documents for a period of one week.

The study rooms can be used Monday to Friday between 9:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, they can be used between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. During teaching hours, to use the free study rooms, you must ask at the concierge desk.

Yes. All CSMA students can connect to WIFI_EDU using their digital identity and personal password.

To request an official academic certificate, you must first pay the corresponding fee and send proof of payment to 03010739@iseacv.gva.es indicando:

      • Surname and first name

      • Email

The certificate may be collected from the Conservatory Secretariat two working days after sending proof of payment.

To apply for the certificate, you must download the application form, fill it in, print it, sign it and deliver it in person or by email (03010739@iseacv.gva.es) to the Conservatory Secretariat, together with the following documentation:

      • Photocopy of your spanish national identity card or foreign resident identification number
      • Proof of payment of the corresponding fee
